I like the vents in the sleeves and front skirt that show all the button work underneath. I always go for the details.
I’ve also been amazed how detailed many of the outfits were a hundred years ago. Patterns could be purchased for most of the outfits that I’ve posted. It seems like it would have taken patience and a lot of skill to successfully sew these clothes.
I’m sure they weren’t working on a state of the yard machine…probably one of those pedal machines…amazing. A total art!
